Default Not much go'n on??? WOT!!

WOT... way off topic... or WIDE OPEN THROTTLE??

Wow... things have really lowed down. I guess the economy has effected some 4-wheeling activities and some forum activity.

Now we are on "frugal-frugal mode"!!

Our property tax has gone up! Our state income tax has gone up. Both of our incomes have been slashed!!

Has the economy and state of the world effected YOUR 4-wheeling? Is Obama good for 4-wheelers or bad for 4-wheelers?

I didn't vote for him so there!

Anyways...I have been juggling the bills still. I'm only working a handful of hours a week. I am getting ready to go back to school fulltime again.

Wife is on unemployment...Taxes went up from 5% to 6.25% for the state.

Jobs seems to suck still in this area....people are still getting let go. Only the big stores are surviving.

I have to say the only good thing coming out of this is the damn roads around here are getting fixed finally! But who is paying for that even??? I was told it's all federally funded thanks to Obama.

Taxes are up to 8.25 (I think.... like it matters.....) CA has doubled the vehicle registration fees.... Rachael was on the lay off list for a few months, but she may be safe now.... but we don't know for sure yet. Work (construction) has been sporadic, so a friend and I have been buying fixing and selling 4Runners... 3 so far, all 3.0's with bad headgaskets.

My truck is in pretty good shape, probably the best it's been since I got it... Haven't done much real wheeling, but I'm trying to hit 2 events in the next couple months. I hope the economy is on the up swing!!!!

Work has been steady, but mostly small and medium repair jobs. It's been a while since I've had a BIG job, but the others have been paying the bills. I haven't had time to work on the Jeep much since The Boss decided that the screen porch had to be painted. Well, my son and I, mostly him, got the porch painted, but now, wouldn't you know, she wants the screens stripped, repaired, painted and re-screened! Girls, phooey!

Well... I always have MY "I gotta do" list!! But it's funny how I rationalize myself out doing stuff I know I need to do.

From end of May until the beginning of October... my most used up excuse is mostly "holy hot ca-ca Batman... it's too flipp'n hot!!!"

Or... I WILL do that next week end!

Or... I just move it down the list about 5 notches!!

Geezz... I hate being a lazy pig!!

Was it Mark Twain who said "Never do today what you can put off 'til tomorrow." Or was it "A job that can be postponed indefinitely never has to be done."
